That was my experience with the activation phase but that could have all been cuz I was dealing with a bunch of jagaloons Read full review. I don't regret b uying it because it was a great price for a great phone.
On top of all that the phone didn't have an internet ap so they messed with it some more and know here I am writing a review from the phone so take it how you want this phone is clean no scratches or anything. Then they asked me to drive another 15 minutes to the other technician store where he messed with it for another hour and finally got it activated. He messed with it for about an hour then asked me to drive 30 minutes to another store that had technicians so I did and they couldn't get it activated after jacking with it for an hour. The first store was not a technician store and the phone wouldn't activate. It took 3 sprint stores to finally get it activated. It also comes with front-facing BoomSound speakers complete with Dolby Surround Sound. Thanks to its 2840 mAh battery, the phone can last up to 25 hours of talk time and 391 hours in standby mode. Today has been a busy day trying to get it activated tho. Compared to the previous model, the One M9 comes with a 20.7MP rear-facing sensor with HD camera and a secondary front-facing 4MP UltraPixel camera. The phone is in great shape I can't find any flaws. Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: pre-owned | Sold by: mrandmrscellphones But without a battery case or some kind of extra low energy mode, this thing just sucks up juice like its nobodys business. If you like the m7 and m8's fantastic sound, but also want to keep up to date in performance, AND you dont mind keeping it plugged in most of the time, this is a nice phone. Come on guys, you didnt even test that the cable worked? The charger provides works, but is not factory, and the cable that was sent wi th mine was junk. It does say minor wear, but the discoloration of the gunmetal finish is kind of a bummer.
There were more scratches than I was expecting. This thing gets hot, even when you are just watching a youtube video. With all that extra horse power, i feel like it should have came with a bigger battery. Screen is hd, which is all i want from a phone.īattery life is as poor as the m8, if not poorer. The sound is as awesome as ever, and the main reason i wanted the m9.
Hopefully the M10 or whatever replaces the M9 can correct the issues (mainly the camera) and turn things around for HTC.I bought this coming off the m8, so I had some high expectations for the successor to one of my favorite phones. It is clear HTC went with only an iterative design change from the M8, which did not help their sales since they failed to fix the main faults of the M8.
Overall I am happy with this phone, although I would have been just has happy sticking with my old M8. The ugly bezel is still there, albeit it's reduced a bit. And while the shape of the phone has changed slightly to make the grip better, the sharp edges on the front are uncomfortable against your face while on a call. The camera is still mediocre even though they went from a 4mp sensor to a 20mp sensor. However, many of the faults from the M8 carried over as well. Some of that is good - for example, the speakers sound the same, the screen is the same, the body is still aluminum, the phone still looks great, and it's still a very speedy phone. This is partly due to the fact that not much has actually changed. The HTC One M9 reminds me of the HTC One M8 in many ways. Detailed ratings Good flagship phone, but there are better
